According to  American Psychological Association, it is time to get support when something causes distress and interferes with some part of your life, particularly when:

  • Thinking about or coping with the issue takes up at least an hour each day
  • The issue causes embarrassment or makes you want to avoid others
  • The issue has caused your quality of life to decrease
  • The issue has negatively affected school, work, or relationships
  • When it is time to make a choice, time to grow up, get unstuck, to let go of the old and choose the path of engagement (Hollis, 2018)

In our sessions, we’ll create a plan that will work towards gaining more self-knowledge, increasing self-agency, changing the relationship to circumstances, and alleviate symptoms of distress. The goal of our work is to reach a sense of daily fulfillment and becoming more satisfied with your life. We’ll meet weekly for 45-50 minutes.

I do not accept health insurances. However, if you are eligible for out-of-network (OON) mental health and  behavioral health benefits, a percentage of your mental health therapy fee can be reimbursed by your insurance plan. Monthly, I will provide you with appropriate documentation to submit for your reimbursement. Please inquire with your health insurance plan to verify if behavioral health OON benefits are attached to your health plan and if you have a deductible. My session fee is $200.

Some labs can measure Omega-3 Fatty Acids Index, which relates to the risk for cardiovascular diseases and may be useful.

The initial consultation includes dietary assessment of your eating habits, nutritional needs, actual and potential nutrient deficiencies and risk factors associated with them. We will discuss your current health concerns and establish strategies towards sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes. We will indicate your short and long-term nutrition goals while taking into consideration your food preferences, cooking abilities, accessibility, budget and time constraints. You will receive a suggested “meal plan” to meet your dietary needs and address health concerns.

Within next three days after the initial consultation, you will receive a summary of what we discussed. The summary will include recommendations and strategies that will help you to navigate towards the established goals.  I will follow up with the email or telephone within a week to answer any other questions or concerns.
